Here's the rest of the story...

Hubby, Dennis, followed in the car with the cover and tools, he got me in action.

The mileage is recorded, battery is out, tank topped off.

Done and over, 2015, my 6th riding year.
Snugged in until April, 2016..jpg

A few last notes, I don't use a fuel stabilizer for the winter, I've never had a problem with any of my bikes, either carburated or fuel injected, I'll add some Seafoam in the spring, that does the job. I don't put the battery on a trickle charger, it's stored in the house and will get a full charge a few days before it gets put back in the bike.

So this is me, in winter mode, waiting to hear from the warm climate ladies.

Breaks my heart VStar! I'm still riding to the office but my riding days are numbered, . The evening ride is a bit brisk but manageable. The lack of daylight is a little more bothersome to me, as well as being on the look out for deer in the twilight. The thought of covering up the bike and getting the battery tender on it is a fast approaching reality. Then PMS - Parked Motorcycle Syndrome  Can I ask you what Seafoam is and what it does for your bike?

Cruzr, Sea Foam makes several fuel products, we use the fuel additive in the bikes and cars, it cleans and ungunks the engine bits. That's all I know about it.

I don't expect to take the cover off until April.

Yes, SeaFoam is exactly as you described it.

We had low 60s and sunny today! It was amazing for mid-November. So, even though I have to work all night tonight, I had to get out and ride for a bit today. It was wonderful and just the therapy I needed. I'm about 98% sure that today will be the end of my season, though. The weatherman is predicting 30's and snow for next weekend. :-(

My season ended yesterday. I haven't touched the bike for the last 3 weeks because of heavy rain and early darkness starting about 4:30. YUCK!

Yes, it's 'going to work in the dark, coming home in the dark' season.

Hey There V-Star! My last ride with Northeast Dualsport Riders was yesterday - time for XT Momo to go to the Moto-Spa and get some much needed pampering, followed by a long and restful winter's slumber.

Here's a shot with me and XT-Momo waving farewell to the 2015 NDR Riding season - taken on our NY Cheap Thrills Run:

I often wonder if I lived in a year round riding climate, would I ride all the time or would I become complacent and say, naw, I'll got tomorrow or the next day? I ride now, about 3 or 4 days a week during the season, would I do as much or less in a warm weather location? I'm thinking, maybe not.
