Interesting concept. I wonder if it will take off? I can see where it could be quite beneficial to drivers and riders alike; but at the same time, I wonder how cost prohibitive it is for initial installation as well as long term maintenance.

I agree it's an interesting concept, but I think I share the third opinion in the article - it could very well just end up being a distraction for drivers and riders alike. In particular, I'm wondering how bright those screens are to be able to be visible in the daytime, and if they will be just as bright at night or if they will be able to be dimmed - but I imagine that either way it'd be pretty dazzling at night.
